RAWALPINDI: Twenty-eight miscreants-terrorists were killed and 7 were apprehended in various areas of Swat during exchange of fire with security forces in the last 24 hours, while 5 soldiers and 2 civilians were injured.
According to ISPR, security forces continued with cordon and search operation and successfully cleared the stronghold of miscreants at Peochar village.

TEHRAN: Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan on Sunday reaffirmed their deep commitment to make every effort to eliminate extremism, militancy and terrorism from the region, stated a joint communique issued at the conclusion of one-day trilateral summit.
